Another Week with Emile 2010!
By popular demand, we are delighted to be returning to River House in Grassy Creek, NC for a fall Week with Emile 2010! Our spring participants were so happy with the week, we decided to add a fall date to our schedule. The week will run from Sunday afternoon, October 17 to Friday,October 22; the height of the leaf season. We love it in the spring, but the fall is simply magical in these gentle mountains.
Inn keeper Gayle Winston will be your hostess - and there is none finer to be found anywhere. You'll spend the week in rustic elegance, with meals that you would find at fine Manhattan restaurants, but served in an atmosphere that feels like home.
Accommodations offer plenty of luxuries, including jacuzzis in every room (don't be fooled by the outside of the buildings). Coffee, or tea if you prefer, will be waiting outside your door in the morning. And Gayle's manager, Sherman and his staff will work to accommodate your every need - with big smiles, to boot!
Emile will give private lessons to those who register as students and all participants will enjoy Emile at the piano each evening. A mid-week informal seminar will give you insights into his music, of interest to both musicians and non-musicians alike.
Previous students, from beginner to advanced, have truly been delighted with Emile's coaching at the piano. He has an amazing ability to zero in on just the right thing and really make a difference for each student.
There'll also be time to enjoy the area and outdoor recreation; we'll have plenty of local information for you. Our spring participants thoroughly enjoyed exploring this gorgeous county and spending time with world renowned artists who live in the area. These beautiful mountains have a lot to offer. As Sherman says, "There's a lot to do here; or absolutely nothing - whichever you prefer."
We have a very exciting activity available this fall: Gayle has agreed to give us a cooking lesson! Anyone who has eaten at River House knows what this means, but I guarrantee it will be incredible. What Emile can do on the piano, Gayle can do in the kitchen!

Fees:
Registration for student participants: $300 (2 hours of private lessons. Additional hours @ $50/hr. can be purchased at the time)
Non-student participants: $250
Meals: $500 includes Sunday Salon with dinner, B, L, D Mon - Thurs., B Fri.
Accommodations: according to room / cabin you reserve.
